CPAP Supplies

It’s important to take regular care of your CPAP equipment – tubing, filters, especially your mask, which can be affected by dirt, oil and residue from your skin.

Did you know?: Most health insurance plans reset the amount of the deductible that has been met to $0 on January 1st of each year.

This means that it if you have met your deductible or are close to meeting your deductible near the end of the year, say around October, November, or December that you should be buying your CPAP supplies…  Why?  Because you’ll only have to pay your [co-insurance rate] , if any, instead of the full amount!

Top 3 reasons to replace your CPAP supplies regularly

Sleep longer every night

CPAP users who regularly replace their parts enjoy a 24% increase in the number of hours of they sleep while on therapy each night.

Sleep better and feel better

The majority of CPAP users who regularly replace their parts say that they not only sleep better, but have a more positive outlook on life.

Get the most out of therapy

CPAP users who regularly replace their parts are 2x more likely to stay on track and continue to stay compliant with their sleep apnea therapy long term.

Compliance is Important

For continued coverage of your equipment and supplies, insurance companies require objective evidence of adherence to use (defined as use of PAP devices for 4 or more hours per night on 70% of nights during a consecutive 30-day period anytime during the first 3 months of initial use) of the PAP device, reviewed by the treating physician.

The report generated by your usage data is important to your insurance company for continued payment. Should your usage report fail to meet compliance, your prescribed equipment and supplies may lose insurance coverage.
